The family of the late Apostle Emeritus Professor Ing. Kwadwo Safo, together with the Kristo Asafo Mission, has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians for the overwhelming support shown during his funeral and final transition.
The family’s appreciation was conveyed by the late Apostle’s daughter, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo, at a thanksgiving service at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi.
She thanked individuals, institutions, traditional authorities, religious bodies and sympathisers for standing with the Kantanka family and helping to give the late industrialist and religious leader a befitting farewell.
Former Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, also paid tribute to Apostle Kwadwo Safo, describing him as a father figure who offered him guidance and encouragement.
Dr. Bawumia praised the late Apostle’s belief in African ingenuity and his determination to develop local solutions in religion, technology and industry.
The thanksgiving service brought together members of the Kristo Asafo Mission, family, friends and other dignitaries to celebrate the life and legacy of Apostle Emeritus Professor Ing. Kwadwo Safo.
