Birmingham City Complete Loan Move for Ibrahim Osman

Birmingham City have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion for the remainder of the 2025–26 season.

The 21-year-old, who was most recently on loan at French side Auxerre, becomes Birmingham’s third loanee from Brighton this season, joining goalkeeper James Beadle and defender Eiran Cashin.

Osman is a versatile right-footed winger capable of playing on either flank and is expected to boost Birmingham’s attacking options while providing competition for Demarai Gray and Patrick Roberts.

He joined Brighton in 2024 from Danish club FC Nordsjælland in a deal worth £16 million. Osman has since gained valuable experience through loan spells at Feyenoord and Auxerre. During his time with the Dutch champions, he made 32 appearances and scored three goals.

Birmingham City’s Sporting Director, Jason Ayto, welcomed the signing, describing the move as a great opportunity for Osman to continue his development within English football.
