Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Abeiku Santana, says he would choose to live in Ghana rather than the United States or United Kingdom, even if he were offered a monthly salary of 100,000 US dollars to relocate.
Speaking in a video posted on X, Abeiku Santana argued that Ghana has numerous opportunities, but many Ghanaians fail to recognise or take advantage of them.
He questioned why Ghanaians often complain about challenges in the country instead of identifying the opportunities those challenges present.
According to him, foreigners and expatriates often come to Ghana, identify opportunities and make use of them, while some Ghanaians overlook the same opportunities.
Abeiku Santana encouraged Ghanaians to change their mindset and begin to see problems as opportunities for work, innovation and business.
He says the challenges confronting the country should not always be viewed negatively, but could instead provide avenues for people to create businesses and livelihoods.
