GHOne TV via EIB Sports partnership has officially launched the 2026 edition of the Alumni Power Games, a debut event that partners the El Wak Social Club.
The launch event, held live on GHOne TV, brought together alumni of participating schools, staff of the El Wak Social Club, and representatives from EIB Network, Ginklat, and Decathlon.
CEO of EIB Network, Bola Ray, emphasized that the games aim to provide a platform for alumni to network and give back to their former schools. “The games are a platform for alumni to network and give back to their various schools,” he said.
Ezra Oduro, Head of Commercial at EIB Network, highlighted the educational aspect of the games, stating that they will offer an opportunity to educate students on being disciplined sportsmen and women.
Representatives of participating schools like Holy Child, Accra Academy, Pope John, Koforidua Sec. Tec and Mawuli School expressed their readiness for the games, which are scheduled to take place on March 28th at the El Wak Social Centre. The event is open to all alumni of high schools.
The Alumni Power Games promise to be an exciting event, promoting sportsmanship, networking, and community engagement.
