Joe Nana Adarkwa, head coach of the Ghana women’s national under-17 football team, has announced a 30-player preliminary squad to begin training at the GFA Technical Centre as the team prepares for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Maidens return to the qualifiers after several years of absence. The first leg will take place in Lomé from April 10–12, 2026, with the second leg scheduled in Ghana from April 17–19. Players are expected to report to camp on March 10, 2024. The U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup will be hosted in Morocco later this year.
