32-year old Garden Boy who killed man, wife and fled to Dubai in police custody

A 32-year old errand/garden boy Abraham Awundok who kílled a couple Dr. Jesse Amuah, a medical doctor and his wife, Elizabeth Esi Amuah, has is now in police custody. The couple was last seen on March 23, 2026 triggering a formal missing person report on April 22, 2026, after family members found their home locked and noticed their Nissan Sunny vehicle was gone.
A joint investigative team later located and recovered the remains of the couple at a location.
Investigations quickly focused on Abraham Awundok, who served as an errand boy for the couple. According to police, he kílled the pair, stole their mobile phones, a sum of money, and their private vehicle.
The suspect then fled Ghana for the United Arab Emirates. The Ghana Police Service collaborated with INTERPOL to issue a Red Notice for his arrest.
On August 30, 2026, Awundok was deported from Dubai back to Ghana by investigators from the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit and INTERPOL. During police interrogation, the suspect admitted to the murders.
On September 7, 2026, the Ghana Police Service announced a major breakthrough in the case following the arrest and deportation of their 32-year-old errand boy, Abraham Awundok, from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The stolen vehicle has since been recovered, and the suspect remains in custody as police finalize their investigations.
