Official: Dede Ayew joins Dutch Eredivisie giants NAC Breda on free transfer

Black Stars player, Andre Dede Ayew has officially joined Dutch Eredivisie giants NAC Breda on a free transfer, penning a contract until the end of the season with an option to prolong his stay for another year.

The 36 year old attacker has been without a club and unattached after leaving French side Le Havre in August this year. His addition brings a wealth of experience to Breda’s set up, having racked up 120 for the Black Stars as well as featuring for top European clubs like Olympique Marseille, Swansea City and West Ham United.

Aye who has been keeping fit in Ghana for some months now is eager to aid NAC Breda wrestle for survival in the Dutch top flight and according to Ayew he’s some one who really loves of challenges.
“I’m someone who really enjoys challenges, both personally and as part of a team at NAC and I want to do everything I can to help the club and my teammates. He further stressed on the essence of mentality by divulging that, “the mental aspect is perhaps the most important in this situation and together with our supporters, we must fight this battle head-on in the second round of the season.”

NAC Breda’s Technical Director, Peter Maas, welcomes Ayew, stating, “André is eager to help NAC in their fight for survival. He’s a true sportsman who takes good care of himself. We believe that with his experience and specific qualities, he can be of value to NAC right now”.
