Member of Parliament for Pru East, Emmanuel Kwaku Boam has celebrated some outstanding teachers in his constituency. The MP honored seven dedicated educators with motorbikes, Television sets among others, showcasing his appreciation for their tireless efforts.

The ceremony which took place at Yeji AstroTurf, had teachers, students, and community leaders in attendance, the District Education Director, Mr. Sylvester Tabiasi-Naa and his staff. Pru East DCE, Hon. Abdul Nassir Dauda all in attendance.

The short ceremony had Nana Siahene Mpre Kukuji, Gyeasehene of Yeji Traditional Area as the chairperson with his other chiefs and queen mothers also in attendance.
The Bono East Regional Education Director, Nana Kugbeadzor-Bakateyi II represented the Deputy Educational Minister and the Bono East Regional Minister at the event.

The Prizes Hon. Boam presented are:
1. One brand-new motorbike
2. One modern fridge
3. Four smart TV sets
4. Two bicycles

The beneficiaries were:
1. Mr. Mohammed Sina ( Yeji Senior High School- Overall Best)
2. Madam Hidaya Zakari(Nurul Islam Primary School)
3. Mr. Charles Ampong(Yeji Presby Primary School)
4. Mr. Tsamenyi Wisdom (AccraTown D/A Primary School)
5. Madam Kpodo Rita (Sawaaba D/A JHS)
6. Mr. Yussif Gyempeh ( Pru East District Education Office )
7. Mr. Kamal Mohammed (Pru East District Education Office)
The MP in his address pledged to improved on education in the constituency. Hon. Boam disclosed over 20 individuals have already benefited from his Scholarship Scheme for both teachers and students.

He highlighted the need for improvement in educational infrastructure in the District assuring the challenges will be addressed.
The awardees were overwhelmed with gratitude, expressing appreciations to the MP for the recognition and also proclaimed the interventions of the MP in the Education.
“This gesture motivates us to do more,” said Mr Mohammed Sima, one of the recipients.

Hon. Boam emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping future leaders, assuring them of continued support. The event ended with a call for more community involvement in the education sector.
