Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis has revealed that the salary of the Bole Senior High School teacher captured in a recent viral video allegedly engaging in a sexual encounter with a student has been frozen effective June 30, 2026.
In an interview, Prof. Kofi Davis disclosed that the teacher has abandoned his post for the past two weeks, while the Police are on a manhunt to arrest him.
Prof. Davis has consequently issued a stern warning to teachers to strictly adhere to the Service’s code of conduct and refrain from engaging in amorous relationships with students, stressing that such misconduct will attract severe sanctions.
