In her address, the Vice President commended REFFA for creating a platform that not only recognises talent but also opens pathways for African films to access regional and international markets. The Vice President urged filmmakers and actors, particularly emerging creatives, to prioritise depth, quality, and professionalism over mere visibility. She stressed that African stories must be told with purpose and excellence to resonate with audiences and compete effectively in global markets.
