The Nkawkaw Fire Station Visibility Team of the Ghana National Fire Service has rescued a three-year-old boy from drowning during a community engagement exercise at Nkawkaw Kwamang.
According to a statement from the GNFS, the team spotted the child in distress in a stream near Access Pub and Restaurant while interacting with the facility’s CEO, Madam Asantewaa, and swiftly intervened to save his life.
“The timely rescue underscores the Ghana National Fire Service’s commitment to protecting lives during emergencies and routine public engagements” the statement concluded.
