Entertainment critic and artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has described Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie’s Rapperholic UK concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall as a “historic win for Ghana.”
Speaking on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy on March 7, Bullgod said the rapper’s ability to sell out tickets for the iconic venue within days demonstrates his unmatched influence and global appeal. “No Ghanaian artiste has accomplished this before at the Royal Albert Hall, and to do it within days is extraordinary,” he emphasized.
Sarkodie’s Royal Albert Hall feat follows his earlier groundbreaking performance at New York’s Apollo Theater about seven to eight years ago, which Bullgod said served as an eye-opener for many in the Ghanaian music industry. The rapper has long expressed his ambition to showcase Ghanaian music on the global stage, and Rapperholic UK represents a major step in fulfilling that vision.

While fans speculated that other top Ghanaian artistes such as Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Kofi Kinaata might join the concert, Bullgod noted that guest appearances at Rapperholic shows are traditionally kept secret. The unpredictability of who might appear is one of the signature attractions of the concert, keeping audiences eager for surprises and collaborations from Sarkodie’s extensive catalogue.
Bullgod added that this historic achievement not only highlights Sarkodie’s talent but also underscores the growing global recognition of Ghanaian music. “This is a win not just for him but for the entire industry,” he concluded.
