Antoine Semenyo has officially transferred to Manchester City from Bournemouth in a deal worth £65 million, signing a 5.5-year contract until 2031.
The Ghanaian forward made his final appearance for Bournemouth against Tottenham Hotspur, scoring a dramatic 95th-minute winner. At 26 years old, Semenyo has netted 10 goals and provided three assists this season, making him a valuable addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
The move was confirmed after Manchester City met Semenyo’s release clause, despite interest from other Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United. City’s director of football, Hugo Viana, praised Semenyo as an “ideal” signing with “huge quality” and “real room for growth and development.”
