Ousmane Dembele annexes the FIFA Best Men’s player award

Ousmane Dembélé has been named the 2025 FIFA Men’s Player of the Year, capping an incredible season with Paris Saint-Germain. The French forward’s impressive performances, including 35 goals and 16 assists in 53 appearances, earned him the top honor.

Dembélé’s transformation into a reliable match-winner under Luis Enrique’s guidance has been remarkable. His pace, intelligence, and goal-scoring ability have made him a standout performer, leading PSG to a historic treble.

The Best FIFA Awards recognized other talented players, including Aitana Bonmatí, who won the Women’s Player of the Year award for the third time. Other winners included Luis Enrique (Men’s Coach), Sarina Wiegman (Women’s Coach), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Men’s Goalkeeper), and Hannah Hampton (Women’s Goalkeeper).

Dembélé joins an elite group of players, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who’ve won both the Ballon d’Or and FIFA The Best awards. His win solidifies his position as one of the world’s best players.
