Budget 2026: Covid Levy Scrapped, VAT Reduced to 20% and Airport Dev’t Fees- Full Text

Minister for Finance Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson in the presentation of the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of government has announced the scrapping of Covid-19 Levy, reduction of VAT rate from 21 to 20% and introduction of the Airport Development Fee by Ghana Airport Company Limited for the construction of the Bolgatanga Airport and one other.
