The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George (MP), has met with courier and delivery riders to address concerns over excessive platform charges, police harassment, and regulatory challenges.

‎
‎He noted that the Ministry is working with the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Transport to allow independent riders to register directly on delivery platforms without joining fleet operators, ensuring fairer fees and better working conditions.
‎

‎Hon. George also pledged to engage the Minister for the Interior to curb police harassment of riders, stressing that legitimate workers should not be unduly targeted
