BOST Energies Limited Sends Off DMD, Welcomes Successor

Accra, Ghana – BOST Energies Limited has held a brief ceremony to bid farewell to its Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Ms. Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, and welcome Mr. Salifu Nat Acheampong as her successor. Ms. Bondzie’s departure follows her appointment by John Dramani Mahama as Executive Secretary of the Ghana Energy Commission.

Management and staff gathered to honour Ms. Bondzie for her immense contributions to the company’s growth and operational excellence. Managing Director Mr. Afetsi Awoonor described her departure as bittersweet, noting that while her exit is a loss to BOST Energies, it represents a significant gain for Ghana’s power sector.

In her farewell address, Ms. Bondzie thanked management and staff for their unwavering support and described BOST Energies as her home.

She pledged to continue supporting the advancement of Ghana’s energy sector in her new national role.

Mr. Acheampong, a long-serving staff member, previously served as Executive Technical Liaison and Manager for Corporate Communications and External Affairs.

He thanked President Mahama for the appointment and pledged his commitment to advancing the company’s vision.

He holds qualifications from the University of Leicester, University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University and the University of Texas.
