The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo is set to launch a program christened self-agriculture initiative. The initiative is aimed at enhancing productivity among local farmers in the constituency. As part of this initiative, the lawmaker has pledged to provide five tractors to assist farmers during the current farming season, ensuring they have the necessary tools to improve their yields.
In addition to the tractor support, Adongo has committed to constructing nine dams across various communities within his constituency. These dams are intended to facilitate fish farming, which will not only promote sustainable agricultural practices but also create job opportunities for the unemployed youth, addressing the issue of unemployment.
This initiative reflects Adongo’s dedication to boosting the local economy and supporting the agricultural sector, which is vital for the livelihoods of many residents in Bolgatanga Central.
