Portugal football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Argentine-Spanish model Georgina Rodríguez, in an intimate ceremony in Portugal.
The 41-year-old Portuguese star and Rodríguez, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was raised in Spain, confirmed their marriage on social media on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Rodríguez holds Argentine and Spanish nationality.
Ronaldo shared a photo of the couple’s hands wearing matching wedding rings, confirming that they had officially tied the knot. Reports say the ceremony was held in Cascais, Portugal, and was attended by their children.
The couple began dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in August 2025 after several years together.
Ronaldo, a former Real Madrid and Manchester United star, is widely regarded as one of football’s greatest players, while Rodríguez has built a career as a model, entrepreneur and social media personality.
