NDC Upper East congratulates Mahama Ayariga, James Agalga on appointments

The leadership of the National Democratic Congress in the Upper East Region has warmly congratulated Mahama Ayariga, MP for Bawku Central, and James Agalga, MP for Builsa North, on their elevation to key national positions.

In a statement signed by the Upper East Regional Communications Officer, Jonathan Abdulai Salifu, the Regional Chairman Alhaji Mumuni Bolnaba, and the Upper East Regional Minister, Donatus Akamugri Atanga, and the party described their appointments as a proud moment for Upper East Region.

Mahama Ayariga has been appointed as Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, while James Agalga has been elevated to Majority Leader of Parliament of the Republic of Ghana.

According to the statement, their appointments reflect their experience, leadership, and commitment to public service.

“These appointments make a proud moment for the Upper East Region and highlight the region’s continued contribution to national governance,” the statement noted.

On behalf of the Regional Executive Committee and the entire NDC family in the Upper East Region, the leadership wished both leaders success in their new roles and urged them to remain committed to the people, the party, and the national interest.
