A new poll by Global InfoAnalytics has found that 72 percent of Ghanaians approve of President John Dramani Mahama’s performance in office, while a majority of respondents also say their standard of living has improved over the past year.
The survey, released on Monday, July 27, found that 21 percent of voters were not happy with the President’s performance since assuming office, while seven percent said they had no opinion.
The poll also indicates that 53 percent of respondents believe their standard of living has improved compared to July 2025.
However, 19 percent said their living conditions have worsened over the past year, while 23 percent reported no change in their standard of living. Five percent said they had no opinion.
According to Global InfoAnalytics, the survey is the first in a longitudinal polling series designed to track the opinions of the same group of voters through to the 2028 general elections.
It added that the longitudinal polls will complement its regular cross-sectional surveys, which are conducted every three months using randomly selected respondents from different constituencies across the country.
