The flood mitigation taskforce led by Brigadier General Forster Okae Yeboah has been out and about in some flood prone areas in Accra. The taskforce used the tour to mark some houses and structures on waterways for demolition. Images from the tour point to massive silting of storm drains, deliberate diversion of courses of water and indiscriminate siting of structures on waterways.
