Fuel tanker driver burnt to death in fiery crash at Adubinso; seven shops destroyed

A fuel tanker driver was burnt to death after a tanker carrying petroleum products was involved in a devastating crash that triggered a massive fire at Adubinso in the Ashanti Region on Thursday.

According to reports from the scene, the tanker burst into flames following the accident, trapping the driver inside the vehicle. Despite efforts by bystanders and emergency responders, the driver could not be rescued and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The intense blaze quickly spread to nearby commercial structures, destroying seven shops and causing significant property damage. Shop owners and residents watched helplessly as the fire consumed goods and business premises before firefighters managed to bring the situation under control.
