Archbishop Agyinasare commended by Professors for outstanding PhD achievement

Accra, Ghana — Archbishop Charles Agyinasare has received high praise from leading academics following his conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business from Transcontinental University.

The graduation ceremony, held on March 28, 2026, at the GTEC Hall in Accra, not only celebrated his achievement but also highlighted strong commendations from professors who supervised and assessed his work.

Ted Sun, President of the Transcontinental Institution of Higher Education, Malta, described the Archbishop’s dissertation as “groundbreaking,” noting its unique blend of theology, leadership, and organisational development. He said the research offers valuable insights for both Christian ministry and ethical business leadership.

Professor Donald T. Iannone, who supervised the doctoral work, praised Agyinasare as a rigorous and curious scholar, emphasizing his deep analysis of leadership models such as transformational and servant leadership within global Pentecostal contexts.

Chief Academic Officer Prof. Lloyd C. Williams also commended the Archbishop’s intellectual depth and global outlook, describing him as an outstanding doctoral learner whose work expands traditional business research through a faith-based perspective.

Dean and Professor Thomas Grisham further highlighted the quality of the dissertation, calling it one of the finest he has encountered, particularly for its ability to connect spirituality with practical leadership challenges.

Across the board, the professors praised Agyinasare’s ability to bridge faith and academic scholarship, emphasizing that his work demonstrates leadership as rooted in integrity, accountability, and long-term impact.
