Spanish La Liga giants Celta de Vigo have completed the long term signing of Ghanaian teenage whizkid Bernard Somuah Sarpong from Asante Kotoko SC,tying the enterprising winger down to a 4 year deal until the summer of June 2030.
Somuah,19,moved to Celta two years ago on a loan to purchase contract,but his gradual development and excellent performances caught the eye of officials of the Galician club who decided to trigger the buy option, showing the believe and trust they have in the Ghanaian based on the potential he has.
Bernard started with Celta Vigo’s Juvenile outfit and went through the ranks all the way to the team’s Fortuna side where he established himself as a totemic character.
His performance for has been essential in propelling Celta Fortuna to second place in 48 points as they keep their promotion hopes pretty much alive.
