Ghana’s national women’s football team, the Black Queens, have landed in Dubai to compete in the Pink Ladies Cup from February 28 to March 6, 2026.

This tournament is a crucial warm-up for their main goal: the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Under Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren, the team will face Hong Kong, Russia, Tanzania, Lebanon, and the UAE. He’s brought a 22-player squad, including six new talents, to assess performances, fine-tune tactics, and build strong team chemistry.

The Black Queens are aiming for a strong showing in Dubai to boost their morale and gather momentum for their WAFCON qualifiers. They’re ready to showcase their skills and prepare for continental success.
