Derby day delight: Arsenal dominate Tottenham with a 4-1 win to widen lead in title race

After a couple of draws had everyone a bit nervous, Arsenal totally crushed their rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, with a massive 4-1 win today! Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres both scored twice, pushing Arsenal to a comfy five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table. Not exactly a fun first game for Tottenham’s new manager, Igor Tudor!

Arsenal was under pressure after Manchester City won yesterday, cutting their lead to just two points. But they came out strong, showing real confidence. Eberechi Eze, who seems to love scoring against Spurs, kicked things off in the 32nd minute with an amazing acrobatic goal.

Tottenham quickly struck back. Just 30 seconds after the restart, Randal Kolo Muani scored after a rare mistake from Declan Rice. The home crowd went wild, but it didn’t last long.

Almost right away, Viktor Gyokeres put Arsenal back in front in the 47th minute with a powerful shot that flew past Tottenham’s goalie.

Tottenham thought they had an equalizer, but Kolo Muani’s goal was ruled out for a foul. Arsenal then took full control when Eze scored his second goal in the 61st minute, making it 3-1.

David Raya made a great save to stop Tottenham from getting one back, and then Gyokeres scored his second in stoppage time, securing an incredible 4-1 victory for Arsenal.

This win is huge for Arsenal’s title hopes, giving them a good cushion over Manchester City. For Tottenham, it’s a tough loss that leaves them uncomfortably close to the relegation zone.

Eberechi Eze was the star, making history with his derby goals. Arsenal dominated the game, proving they are serious contenders for the title this season.
