Palmer’s perfect hat-trick Electrifies Molineux as Chelsea demolish Wolves 3-1

Chelsea continued their incredible run under Liam Rosenior today, bagging their fourth consecutive Premier League victory with a dominant 3-1 performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers as Cole Palmer celebrated his 100th start for the Blues by smashing a first-half hat-trick.

From the first whistle, Chelsea were on fire, leaving Wolves scratching their heads. The atmosphere at Molineux was electric, but it was all blue for the majority of the first 45.

*The Palmer Show: A First-Half Masterclass*
– *13 Minutes:* The deadlock was broken when a sharp move led to Joao Pedro being fouled in the box. Cool as a cucumber, Palmer stepped up and slotted home the penalty. 1-0 Chelsea!
– *35 Minutes:* Deja vu! Pedro once again drew a foul, and Palmer, oozing confidence, converted his second penalty of the afternoon. 2-0!
– *38 Minutes:* Before Wolves could even catch their breath, Palmer completed his sensational hat-trick! A brilliant assist from Marc Cucurella set him up perfectly, and he made no mistake with a clinical finish. Molineux was stunned, and Chelsea were flying high at 3-0

The stats tell the story: Chelsea commanded a massive 69% possession in the first half, toying with Wolves and creating chance after chance. The home crowd made their displeasure known at halftime, but there was no denying Chelsea’s supremacy.

The second half saw a slightly more spirited Wolves side, and they managed to pull one back in the 55th minute through Tolu Arokodare from a set-piece. While it denied Chelsea a clean sheet, it was ultimately just a consolation goal. The Blues held firm, managing the game professionally to secure all three points.

This crucial victory propels Chelsea to fifth place in the Premier League table, just a single point behind Manchester United. With Palmer back in blistering form, the push for a Champions League spot just got a whole lot more exciting What a performance, what a player, what a win for the Blues.
