Photographs appearing to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew and Duke of York, kneeling on all fours over a fully clothed, unidentified woman have been included in the latest batch of Jeffrey Epstein files released by the U.S. Department of Justice.

In two of the images, Mountbatten-Windsor appears to touch the person on her stomach, while a third image shows him staring directly at the camera. No context, dates, or locations are supplied for the photographs, and it is unclear when they were taken.

The release comes amid ongoing scrutiny over Mountbatten-Windsor’s past friendship with Epstein. He has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. The BBC has reached out to him for comment.

In addition to the photos, the documents include emails suggesting Epstein invited Mountbatten-Windsor to have dinner with a 26-year-old Russian woman in August 2010 — two years after Epstein had pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor. The exchanges detail arrangements for the meeting, but do not indicate any criminal activity. In one email, Epstein described the woman as “26, Russian, clever, beautiful, trustworthy,” and asked Mountbatten-Windsor whether he would like to meet her.
The newly released tranche includes more than three million pages of documents and 180,000 images, featuring redacted photographs of unidentified women, luxury apartments, hotel rooms, and a villa with a swimming pool.
Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles in October 2025 following heightened public and media scrutiny, has been under investigation for his connections to Epstein for years. The photos and emails are likely to put further pressure on him and reignite public attention to his past associations with the convicted sex offender.
The documents form part of a wider release by the U.S. Department of Justice aimed at providing transparency in the investigation into Epstein and his network of associates.
