Kylian Mbappé is simply all over the players as he keeps scoring left, right, and center.
The French goal monger has scored 34 goals in 28 games this season for Real Madrid, as he is in a different league of his own: 21 goals in 20 La Liga games, 11 goals in seven Champions League matches, and two goals in the Copa del Rey, despite Madrid’s elimination at the hands of Albacete. His two goals in the Spanish Cup came against FC Talavera.
To add to his repertoire, Mbappé is now up to 417 career goals, with 77 of them coming at Real Madrid in his second season.
Vinicius Junior was instrumental in Real Madrid’s attack, causing problems for Villarreal’s defense throughout the match. Villarreal had chances to score, but Gerard Moreno’s shot went over the crossbar, and Pape Gueye’s effort was just wide.
The win takes Real Madrid to the top of La Liga, two points clear of Barcelona. Manager Álvaro Arbeloa praised Mbappé and Vinicius Junior, saying they are “the two best in the world.”
