Black Stars and Medeama SC midfield kingpin, Prince Owusu, has traveled to Israel to undergo a trial with Maccabi Tel Aviv, with a potential transfer to the Israeli top flight on the cards.
Prince Owusu left the shores of the country last week to take part in the trial, as he hopes to catch the eye of the technical team and top officials of the Israeli giants.
Popularly known as Kojo Messi for his silky, cultured left foot, Prince Owusu could feature in the Europa League with Maccabi Tel Aviv if he impresses the club’s hierarchy.
The young midfielder has been instrumental in Medeama SC’s league campaign this season in the Ghana Premier League and also earned a call-up to the Black Stars during last year’s tour of Asia, featuring in the international friendly against South Korea.
