Ghanaian forward André Dede Ayew finally made his long-awaited debut for NAC Breda, coming off the bench in a 0-0 draw against Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday.
The 36-year-old replaced Moussa Soumano in the 57th minute and played 33 minutes, showing composure and experience.
Despite limited preparation time, Ayew put in a solid performance. He recorded 20 touches, took one shot, completed a successful dribble, and won several duels.
His presence added leadership and creativity to NAC Breda’s attack and helped the team secure a crucial point in their relegation battle.
The match also featured other Ghanaian players, with Ayew lining up against Denis Odoi and Kamal Sowah.
NAC Breda remain 17th on the table with 14 points from 18 matches.
