Super Eagles Receive Massive Boost As Bonuses Are Cleared Ahead Of Algeria Showdown

The Super Eagles have received a major boost ahead of their crucial AFCON quarter-final clash against Algeria after the Federal Government confirmed that all outstanding group-stage bonuses have been paid.

The development puts to rest speculation over a possible training boycott and travel disruptions as the team prepares for the high-stakes encounter in Marrakesh.

Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, announced that the payments are being credited to the players’ accounts, following swift intervention by the government and the Central Bank of Nigeria. With the financial concerns resolved, attention now shifts fully to the upcoming showdown with Algeria.

“No distractions, just football. We’re backing our boys to bring the trophy home,” Dr. Uzoka-Anite said.

The update has restored calm within the Super Eagles camp, with players now expected to focus solely on delivering on the pitch.
