Antoine Semenyo will join Manchester City in the coming days, with the deal worth £60 million fixed over a three-year period, with an additional £5 million in add-ons.
The high-flying Ghanaian forward will ink a four-year deal with the Sky Blues until the summer of 2030, with an option to prolong his stay at the Etihad until June 2031.
As part of his £65 million agreement, Manchester City have given Semenyo room to face Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur before formalising the deal.
Semenyo is billed to undergo a medical at Manchester City on Thursday, January 9, ahead of his big-money move from AFC Bournemouth to the blue side of Manchester, marking a new chapter in his football journey and adding a new layer of competition at the highest level ahead of Ghana’s World Cup participation in North America later this year.
Semenyo has scored nine goals for AFC Bournemouth this season in the English Premier League. In terms of his versatility on the field of play, the Ghanaian international offers Manchester City options upfront, with his ability to play on the left flank, right flank, and as a main striker, making him an all-round player.
