Daniel Nii Laryea, Ghana’s top referee, is set to officiate the Algeria versus Burkina Faso match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
This will be Laryea’s third consecutive AFCON tournament, having also officiated in 2021 and 2023. With extensive experience in the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and Ghana Premier League, his expertise in VAR protocols makes him a trusted official on the continental stage.
The match kicks off at 5:30 p.m. GMT at Stade Prince Moulay in Hassan, Rabat. Algeria, led by Riyad Mahrez, looks to build on their opening win, while Burkina Faso aims to secure another victory.
