This move is part of NACOC’s ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse, trafficking, and the distribution of illicit substances during a time when social activities and large gatherings increase. By intensifying operations, the Commission aims to protect public health, safety, and security.
Working alongside other law enforcement and regulatory agencies, NACOC will focus on detecting and preventing the sale and use of illegal drugs, ensuring compliance with national narcotics laws, and educating venue operators and patrons on the dangers of drug abuse.
Venue owners, managers, and event organizers are urged to cooperate fully with authorized officers and to take proactive steps to keep their premises drug-free. Members of the public are also encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to drug use or trafficking.
