Real Madrid dropped points in La Liga, settling for a 2-2 draw against Elche at the Estadio Martínez Valero. Elche took the lead twice, but the visitors fought back to equalize through Dean Huijsen and Jude Bellingham.
Aleix Febas put Elche ahead in the 53rd minute, but Huijsen’s header from a corner kick leveled the game seven minutes later. Elche regained the lead in the 84th minute through Álvaro Rodríguez, only for Bellingham to secure a point for Real Madrid with a late strike in the 87th minute.
The result extends Real Madrid’s winless streak to three matches, and they now trail Barcelona by one point at the top of the table. Elche, meanwhile, moves up to 11th place in the standings.
