Veteran gaffer, Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong has resigned from his position as coach of underperforming Techiman Eleven Wonders 20 days at post, pointing out difficulties in getting the team back to winning ways after tasting 3 defeats, scoring 2 and shipping in 6.
The one-time Asante Lotion, Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals trainer, took charge on November 2 before his premature departure as he took over from former Black Stars player Nii Odartey Lamptey who also resigned.
Techiman Eleven Wonders secured promotion to play in this season’s (2025/2026) Ghana Premier after beating Real Tamale United in the Division 1 Zone 1A and 1B playoff game played at the Accra Sports Stadium some months ago.
More so, prior to the start of the league season, Eleven Wonders went through a change of ownership by bearing the name of relegated Legon Cities after the team was relocated to Accra.
With 10 league games honoured so far Eleven Wonders are yet to find their feet and muster a victory having accumulated 8 loses, and 2 defeats while languishing at the bottom of the league and in the dungeons of relegation hoping for a revival.
Eleven Wonders will travel to the Hohoe stadium this coming weekend to face Hohoe United, who sit 13 in the league standing in a battle dubbed the battle of the new boys
