The Parliament of Ghana is currently debating the report of the Appointments Committee on the vetting of Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie’s nomination as Chief Justice.
Justice Baffoe-Bonnie, who is the Acting Chief Justice, was vetted by the committee on Monday, November 10, 2025.
This followed his nomination by President John Dramani Mahama on September 23, 2025.
