Asiedu Nketiah reignites grassroots confidence: Assures NDC is delivering on promises

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fulfilling its promises, assuring Ghanaians that the NDC government is already translating its development agenda into visible results.

During a tour of Ketu South, Keta, Anloga, and surrounding districts, Mr Asiedu Nketiah received a rousing welcome from enthusiastic crowds who hailed the visit as a show of leadership accountability and grassroots connection.

He said the NDC’s vision for Ghana is anchored on inclusive growth, job creation, improved infrastructure, and expanded opportunities for young people, noting that these priorities are steadily being realized under the current administration.

“Our government is focused on tangible progress — not promises on paper. Some of our initiatives require time to mature, but others are already in motion, reflecting our resolve to deliver practical results,” he told cheering supporters.

The tour, according to Mr Asiedu Nketiah, formed part of the party’s broader effort to reconnect with the grassroots and assess ongoing development projects to ensure that citizens’ concerns shape national policy.

Across the Volta coastal districts, excitement filled the air as youth groups and community leaders praised the NDC leadership for maintaining direct engagement with the people. Many expressed optimism that the visit would further accelerate progress in their localities.

Reaffirming the party’s guiding principles, Mr Asiedu Nketiah stressed that the NDC remains committed to building a fair, transparent, and people-driven government, urging continued public confidence in the party’s vision for a united and prosperous Ghana.

“The NDC is not just promising change — we are delivering it,” he declared.
