The President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Mrs. Efua Ghartey, appealed to President Mahama to work with the Association in upholding the rule of law and strengthening the country’s democratic foundations.
According to her, the Association remains committed to ensuring justice, equality, and fairness for all citizens.
Speaking at the GBA’s 2025/26 Annual General Conference in Wa, Upper West Regional capital, Mrs. Ghartey expressed confident in the President Mahama’s leadership.
“We’re confident and trust that under his leadership, he will join hands with us in jealously guarding the rule of law, respecting human rights, and upholding both the letter and spirit of our Constitution,” she stated.
The GBA president also underscored the importance of fostering an environment where a vibrant and united Bar can “speak truth to power.”
