President John Dramani Mahama will meet the press on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in what will be his first Presidential Media Encounter since beginning his second term in office.
The session, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the Jubilee House, is expected to provide clarity on his Resetting Ghana Agenda, policy direction, and ongoing projects, while also allowing journalists to ask direct questions on national issues.
According to a statement signed by Minister for Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu, accreditation will be required for participation.
The encounter comes at a crucial moment, as the government faces scrutiny over economic reforms, the recently introduced No Fees Stress Policy, the rollout of the 24-Hour Economy initiative, and the controversial removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
The Presidency says it expects a frank and engaging interaction with the media as President Mahama outlines the path forward in his second term.
