Farmer beheads 6-Year-Old Son For Ritual Money

Residents of Adidaase in the Wassa Amenfi District of the Western Region are in shock following reports that a farmer in the community had allegedly beheaded his six-year-old son. The suspect, 31-year-old Abdul Salam, is believed to have committed the gruesome act for alleged money rituals. He initially reported his son missing, prompting the formation of a search party by concerned residents.

After extensive efforts to locate the boy proved unsuccessful, suspicions turned toward the father. Upon further questioning, Salam reportedly confessed to killing his son with the intention of selling parts of his body.

Police say Salam severed the child’s head and legs and hid them in a nearby bush. During interrogation, he confessed to committing the act.

The Police in Asankragua have described the incident as deeply disturbing, confirming that the suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue
