Accra witnessed a weekend of glamour, joy, and romance as event and media personality Solomon Nii Amarh Amarteifio tied the knot with his radiant bride, the Chief Operating Officer of Linmart Media Solutions, one of the capital’s leading event companies.

The much-talked-about wedding, which took place on Friday, July 25, began with a colourful traditional ceremony at Mr. Sowah’s residence in Spintex. The glamorous occasion was attended by close family members, prominent CEOs, influential politicians, and notable media personalities.

The engagement was hosted by popular MCs Onga and Too Sweet, who kept the event lively, heartfelt, and well-coordinated.

The groom made a striking entrance in a pristine white caftan with a green kente cloth draped over his shoulder, matching his sandals. He was joined by 11 groomsmen dressed in lemon-green kaftans and matching hats.

The bride wore a vibrant green and pink kente gown, accompanied by 11 bridesmaids in elegant green outfits, each holding a customised branded hand fan.

The traditional rites concluded with the exchange of vows and rings, officiated by Apostle Abraham Davies of the Pleasant Place Chapel, alongside Pastor Henry Wallace, Pastor Felix Tetteh, and Apostle Benjamin Mensah.

Following the traditional ceremony, the white wedding was held at the Pleasant Place Church with selected guests and family members.

The groom looked sharp in a crisp white jacket, black bow tie, tailored black trousers, and polished black shoes. The bride wore an exquisite white gown paired with silver heels and sparkling jewellery.

They exchanged vows once more before the clergy formally pronounced them Mr. and Mrs. Amarteifio, followed by the signing of the marriage certificate amid applause and cheers.

The evening reception took place at the luxurious Underbridge in East Legon, known for its elegance and sophistication. Hosts Caroline Simpson of YFM and Mr. Hollywood set the tone for a night of celebration.

The groomsmen and bridesmaids opened the festivities with a lively dance before the newlyweds made their grand entrance to Medikal and King Promise’s hit “Ayekoo.”

Guests enjoyed performances by Perez Muzik, ACP Kofi Sarpong, and Afro-fusion duo Lali X Lola.

The couple also received a recorded congratulatory message from Kwabena Kwabena, who was billed to perform but was away in the USA.

The night was filled with music, laughter, dancing, and heartfelt moments that reflected the couple’s love story.

Special guests included actress Nana Ama McBrown, media personalities Alfred Ocansey, Moro Awudu, Jimmy Quist, Johnny Hughes, Black Rasta, and Mr. Kojo Adubofour, CEO of Asianic Ghana Ltd, among other distinguished figures.

Family, friends, and well-wishers join in congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Amarteifio, wishing them a lifetime of love, joy, and blessings.
