Sam George supports Ningo, Prampram Traditional Councils ahead of Homowo

The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram and Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, has donated assorted items and cash to the Ningo and Prampram Traditional Councils in support of this year’s Homowo celebrations.

The donations included sacks of maize, gallons of palm nut oil, cartons of drinks, and packs of bottled water, alongside undisclosed cash contributions to each traditional area.

At Prampram, Nene Adebomtenya III received the items on behalf of the Traditional Council, expressing gratitude to the MP for his consistent support over the years.

In Ningo, the presentation was received by Nene Djangmah Osroagbo XII, Paramount Chief and President of the Ningo Traditional Council, who praised Mr. George for his continued role in promoting and sustaining the culture and traditions of the constituency.

The chiefs also commended the MP for his interventions in providing water to the communities but appealed for a permanent solution to the ongoing water crisis.

Responding to their concerns, Sam George reaffirmed his commitment to improving water supply in the area, promising to ensure regular flow in the taps. As an immediate measure, he pledged to provide ten water tankers to each traditional area.

The event was attended by the District Chief Executive, Raphael Uriel Nartey, and constituency executives.
