Archbishop Charles Agyinasare earns PhD in Business

Accra, Ghana — Founder of Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business from Transcontinental University.

The graduation ceremony was held on March 28, 2026, at the GTEC Hall in Accra, where he graduated alongside four other Ghanaians.

His doctoral research explored the influence of leadership on claims of divine healing and miracles, aiming to connect spirituality with leadership and organizational development.

In a message delivered on his behalf, President John Dramani Mahama described the achievement as a “national asset,” emphasizing the need for leaders who combine ethical values with innovation and strategic thinking.

Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie also praised the graduates, noting that earning a PhD requires discipline, clarity, and perseverance.

In his valedictorian address, Archbishop Agyinasare shared that a past academic critique pushed him toward deeper scholarship. He stressed that his pursuit of the PhD was driven by a desire to integrate faith with leadership and real-world impact.

He added that true leadership is rooted in character, integrity, and accountability, not just influence or charisma.
