‘Building Keta Together’: Ahlijah supports municipal clean-up exercise with equipment.

The slogan “Building Keta Together” came to life in Abor as lawyer and community leader Lom Nuku Ahlijah presented 217 cleanup tools to the Keta Municipal Assembly to support the National General Cleaning Days.

The donation included essential equipment such as cutlasses, shovels, spades, wheelbarrows, boots, hand gloves, and head pans for use during sanitation exercises across the municipality.

Mr. Ahlijah said the gesture reflects his belief that community development is achieved through practical action and collective responsibility.

He encouraged residents to join the nationwide cleanup exercise declared by President Mahama and continue working together to maintain clean and healthy communities long after the campaign ends.

President Mahama recently designated July 10 and 11 as National General Cleaning Days under the theme “Our Actions, Our Future: Cleaning Ghana after the Floods,” with the initiative focusing on sanitation, flood prevention, and community resilience.

The presentation is expected to complement the efforts of the Keta Municipal Assembly as it coordinates cleanup activities across the municipality.
