The Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang and some other government officials are in Brussels to attend the Global Gateway Forum. The Global Gateway Forum is a flagship event of the European Union. The first edition of the Forum in 2023 highlighted the European Union’s external investment initiatives.
The 2025 edition will bring together Heads of States and Governments, business leaders, Civil Society and key financial actors to discuss the future of strategic partnerships in a multipolar world. This year’s event is expected to focus on advancing global connectivity in the face of geopolitical and geoeconomic challenges. The Forum takes place from the 9th to 10th of October, 2025.
Global Gateway is the European Union’s strategy to boost smart, clean and secure connections in digital, energy and transport sectors, and to strengthen health, education and research systems across the world.
The Forum aims to mobilize up to €300 billion in investments.
